In 1979 Classic Gems started as a catalog - mail order business. As it
struggled along on a "shoe string" it began to evolve, and combined with
other interests, mainly antiques and restoration, that in 1983 we opened our
retail store called "Methuselah's Antiques".
Classic Gems was still quite an active part of our retail shop, but it also
had gone from mail-order to vintage and gently used jewelry.
Today we have expanded into online sales and with continuing educa-
tion our "branching" has lead us to the fascination of gemstones.
As with all the items we offer, we are commited to finding the best in
quality so that our customers can be assured of the very best in craftsmanship.
We primarily carry genuine gemstone jewelry, but in the case of very unique
items with exceptional quality, we may have the odd synthetic, which will be
fully disclosed in the discription of the items.
It is our hope that you find each of our pages an adventure, as we strive
to keep you coming back to seek out some real treasures. Our goal is to
keep our pages updated with new and different items, so that on every visit
to LiaFail...Stone of Destiny you will find something that you didn't see here
